I’ve grown bored with my old web site design so I’m in the process of completely redoing it. I’m hoping that I will be able to completely redo my web site using CSS, which is going to be a lot of learning for me to do. This going to be a major undertaking for me but I feel that I will be able to accomplish it. The only thing that I have to over come is getting so distracted and getting down to work. So this is the markup I have so far. Its a little bit web 2.0 but I think once I’m finished with it and its all done it will really look good. One of the design problems that I’m having right now is figuring out the background color or if I should keep it white. Its far from finished but its an early mock up and so far I like it, but it will be interesting to see how it changes. Any thoughts or comments?

I’m continuing with posting some of my old writings. This is my senior write up, a senior write is a little blurb where you can write your memories of high school and friends and it will go along side your picture in the year book. Mine happened to have been written on September 29th, 2003 at 11:39 PM, so I’m going to assume that I waited for the night before it was due to write it.

Its over! After 13 years it’s done. Thanks to everyone who helped on my way, Mom, Dad, Marisa, Grandma, Grandpa, Mrs. Either, everybody from CYC, “Hey Babes”. Andrew-patriots are the worst go Dallas “I am awesome” it was just a lamp, Adam-go Dallas Yankees stink Red Sox forever, football games, chopping down trees with bats, Jordan- Biggy RIP 1997, go to sleep, art class, imports, DEAD WRONG, smashing chips, victory, 50, LA heat, Kevin-football games, wiffle ball, celebrity, getting stopped at the border at Canada, Sean- art class, football games, never eating, Kyle- cheeks, golfing with tiger, your holding up the line, Luke- cruise night, racing the mustang, the cutlass, going in the window. And to everybody else at the lunch table, Travis, Matt, Jeff, Karly, and Tom. Thanks to everybody again and to many more good times.

Looking back on this it reminds me a lot about the things I forgot in high school and the people. Some the inside jokes mentioned (which most of it is) seem so stupid. But oh well it was high school. Its hard to believe that i graduated from high school 4 years ago and college just about a year ago. How so much has happened in that short of time.

So as you may have noticed I recently switched over to wordpress.org instead of blogger. This will give me a lot more control over the look and feel of the blog. However when I switched over some of the formatting is messed up so please bare with me as I try and fix all these problems.

Evernote is a program for Mac, Windows, mobile and online software. To best sum it up:

Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at anytime, from anywhere. source

It is like Onenote from Microsoft office and Tomboy notes from Linux. It is great for jotting down random notes, clipping items from the web and desktop applications and for holding serchable pictures. You can also send emails directly to Evernote and have it show up as a new note. After the jump I’ll give you a rundown of the client and how I use it.

Conclusion (so you don’t have to read the whole thing) I have been using Evernote since 2.2 and loved it. With the new layout and syncing online it has only gotten better. There are a few bugs with it, whenever I shutdown or restart my computer Evernote makes a blank note or a log note of things I don’t understand. It is a little slow when starting a new note or deleting a note. Other than those two things Evernote is a solid application and is useful. Its currently is private beta but I have some invites left, so if you want one feel free to leave a comment with your email and I’ll send you one.
